Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD)
At BrioHealth, I worked on the LVAD as a project lead, coordinating engineering, quality, regulatory, clinical, and operations work on a Class III heart-assist device. The portfolio describes a 2024 FDA Investigational Device Exemption milestone for clinical investigation; that is not commercial approval.
Light-Resistant IV Set
Development of an IV-set solution for medications that need protection from light, connecting product requirements with practical design and testing decisions.
IV Sets — EU MDR
Portfolio coordination and documentation for IV sets under the European Medical Device Regulation, with clearer schedules, workstreams, and cross-functional visibility.
Orthopedic design and analysis
At Hospital for Special Surgery, I worked on the orthopedic design and analysis projects below, where anatomy, mechanical behavior, and surgical constraints shaped the engineering decisions.
Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) System
Knee-replacement system design work balancing anatomy, implant mechanics, surgical use, and the evidence needed to support development decisions.
Custom Total Knee & Hip Replacements
Patient-specific orthopedic implant solutions developed around individual anatomy and surgical needs, in collaboration with clinical and engineering partners.
Constrained Total Knee Design
Mechanical design work on a constrained knee concept where stability, component interfaces, and real-world use had to be considered together.
Total Elbow Replacement — Implant Fatigue Study
Abaqus-based analysis of a titanium elbow prosthesis to inform fatigue, design, and physical testing decisions.
Distal Radius Fracture Solutions
Wrist-fracture fixation work exploring the tradeoffs among anatomy, surgical technique, stability, and manufacturability.

Thump! — Pickup Sports App and Website
A mobile app and website for discovering pickup games and helping hosts manage rosters, approvals, waitlists, and reminders. The app has been developed but is not yet on the App Store or Google Play; the business case is being re-vetted ahead of a tentative early-2027 launch.
